The Wayfarer on Whidbey Island is set on a picturesque location on beautiful South Whidbey Island, which is an approximately 45 minute drive north of Seattle and a short 15 minute ferry ride.  An historic 5 acre Island farm, it features open, rolling grounds, orchard, bridal cottage and groom's cabin.  Mature trees and park-like acreage make the farm perfect for a garden-style wedding, complete with candle-lit mason jars, chandeliers, and string lights.  With territorial views of the  Bayview valley, The Wayfarer makes a great backdrop for a relaxed or elegant, intimate Island wedding, or as a site for any other private event. 
   
In addition, the farm has two barns to accomodate your guests:  one whitewashed and bright for a possible intimate ceremony or reception.  The other barn, complete with an exposed beam ceiling, antique bar and indoor/outdoor space is perfect for cocktail hour and dancing.
